Changing a logo is not something that any company takes lightly but when Big Bear Movement founder and CEO was speaking with the company design team, he was looking for something that would be simple and powerful to let the world know how he was feeling about the recent Residential School discoveries.

Helping out is nothing new for Mr. Ross. His organization actively seeks causes to help including "Clean Water For All" which works with countries in Africa to provide water filtration systems.

The company also helps to raise funds and awareness for Amnesty Internationals' campaign called 'No More Stole Sisters' which is about Missing Indigenous Women.

The logo change is simple and powerful and reflects how Colin feels, how his company feels and how most people in the country feel. "We were all sad and shocked to learn about the 215 children found in Kamloops", he said, "and we know there will be more children found'.

The symbol of the bear is a tribute to the founders Indigenous roots and also his nickname. Adding tears running down the cheeks of the bear was a simple and powerful way to show how we all feel while keeping the bear image strong.

A portion of all proceeds from this campaign will go to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society. You can donate to them directly at https://www.irsss.ca/donate
